Quick answer
The Pizza Rat die-cut vinyl sticker is a pop culture nod to the viral 2015 NYC meme of a rat dragging a slice of pizza down subway stairs—symbolizing New Yorkers' gritty, never-give-up attitude. It's a funny, weatherproof sticker that lets you carry that humor anywhere.
Why this meme still resonates
The original Pizza Rat video captured a rat struggling but succeeding in dragging a whole pizza slice down a subway stair—a moment that quickly became an internet sensation. It resonated because it felt like a metaphor for city life: messy, determined, and oddly triumphant. The Pizza Pizza Rat sticker extends that joke, playing on the idea that the original rat has a father who's even more committed to the pizza lifestyle.
